A close-up of the circuit board. The relatively small number of components is a giveaway to the ingenious simplicity of Theremin's basic design. The main problem for amateur builders like me is the inductance coils, which are clearly visible at either end of the board. The blue and white info panel at top right indicates that in the end I took the easy solution by going for a Big Briar kit.
